Our service centers provide emergency and transitional support on a walk-in basis to people in need of assistance. Services include emergency food packets and clothing and transportation assistance in the form of bus tokens for medical appointments or employment search. We provide financial aid to help people obtain their birth certificate, get a California Identification card, prescription medicines, or other emergency needs as evaluated by the agency. We provide layettes to low-income new mothers. Information and resource counseling are available along with limited case management and referrals to shelter and other agencies or sources of help.
