If you are considering volunteer service, then you must ask yourself some simple questions first. Who do you want to help? How much time do you have? What level of commitment do you want to make? Like many nonprofits, CCSA utilizes volunteers as a cost effective measure to pursue their mission.

CCSA has several kinds of opportunities to volunteer:

  • “Ongoing” positions- these opportunities are those assignments for people with longer- term interest in our project. These are generally assignments working directly with the clients in the area of client intake and assessment, food and clothing distribution at the service centers.

  • “Flexible” or time-limited positions- these opportunities are on an as-needed basis by the agency, and volunteers are usually recruited for special projects or programs.
